So this has taken about 2 months to complete, Its a wrap around deck with stairs leading into the back yard My buddy and I finished it about 3 weeks ago but this is the first time I’ve gotten around to posting the pics. The final pic shows my newest problem, WEEDS growing through the lattice which shall be eradicated next weekend with a liberal dose of weed killer, on afterthought I should have graded below the deck and graveled it but alas I didnt so now I have to figure out how to kill everything under there. We used cabots australien timber oil on the deck and latex white for the banisters (that was the worst part hand painting everything.) Overall my wife and I love it and it really has transformed our house. Thanks for looking

Hey Sgt, Very nice. Now all you need is some of our desert weeds. I covered them in rock salt and watered the salt real good and got the greenest weeds you ever saw. lol You may have to crawl under the deck and lay down some of that heavy black plastic to stop the germination.

Thanks for the tip lil, and I think that is probably exactly what I will have to do. Just another lesson learned do it right the first time or work harder to make it right the second :) Hope all is well with you.
