Cat food table

LOML brought home the disaster shown in the last pic. All I could think of was the rust stains that were soon to grace the screen porch floor (that I would then have to eradicate on an ongoing basis). I said “yes, dear” and then hurried it out the door. The idea is a good one for an outside feeding station. It takes the ants a little longer to find the food, by that time, the cat (s) are done and the bowl gets picked up. It’s necessary for us because we have a feral cat that lives outside, although the one pictured enjoying it is Oreo, our former stray. Very simple construction from scraps of tiger maple and jatoba, and unbelievably strong, I accidentally stepped on it once and it didn’t move. Hope you enjoy, comments and criticism welcomed!
