Zoom Pictures

This is a piece that I did for my son. The picture is of a wolf running through trees and stopping to see it’s reflection in the water. The dark part of the picture is made of 1/8” thick walnut and the lower picture is 1/8” maple. The background of each picture is the bookmatch reverse from the resawn pictures. The frame is made from cherry. Total time on the scroll saw cutting was 17 hours!!!

Great scroll piece! I knew what it was right away, without reading your description.

This is a marvelous job of scroll sawing. I can only imagine the technique and skill it takes to produce something like this.

Thanks for sharing.
