3/4” and 1/2” birch ply with poplar face. 3 coats of water-based enamel sprayed using a harbor freight HVLP gun (4 coats on the top, actually). My third time spraying anything. Eventually I got a pretty smooth glossy finish but there were still a few bubbles. It was hard to find a happy medium with respect to viscosity; thin enough to vaporize properly but thick enough to get a good coat. After the fact, I’m thinking I should have moved up to a 2mm needle set. I did it with a 1.4mm and I think thinning too much is making the bubbles. No, I did not make the drawer pulls, they were gifts from my in-laws.

-- I cut it three times and it's STILL too short!

Nice crisp work and can’t see the bubbles from here. Looks great.
All a basement shop needs is a good table saw!
