So what inspired me to make a tin can man for my garden ?? A good friend used to make tin can men out of cans like what I used and he made cow boy tin can men. I asked if I could borrow his and create my own tin can man and this is what I came up with. This may not be made out of wood but I couldn’t of made it with out the help of my wood shop tools in my wood shop area. I posted a picture of this on face book and people started to place orders right away. I didn’t intend to make and sell these tin can men but like the people on face book told me they are so darn cute and there are not to many people that make these neat little guys that like to hang around all day at your house. I told my little guy to scare the slugs off at night but he isn’t doing a great job at it so I gave him some salt and that scared them off. Well it melted them as well of the ones that stayed in the garden. Thanks for checking my tin can art out.

I like him. He is haning on a wooden post and fence. Hope the project police don’t gitcha! ;-(

I get allot of my cans from friends and from work as I cook for 5 individuals and yes a few of the cans are mine. I do try to get gallon size cans from people when I can. I am glad you got the challenge of making one for the wife wiser 1934. I know you can do it. That is just the thing when you come up with soothing cool or cute there is always some one out there that wants one of the projects we make . Take care all .
