This was my second cutting board I made and I went with something a bit different than my last one. This was made of Cherry and Pecan (Can I just say I LOVE the way pecan wood chips enhance my BBQ!!!).

I made this for my Mom for a combination B-Day and Mother’s Day. Thus the engraving “April ‘11”

Same as last time I just did about 4-5 coats of USP mineral oil for the finish. This time I made some handles on the sides for easy pickup, something I wish I had done on the last board I made for my wife.

I like the wood grain in the pecan. It is a nice looking CB.
