Vanity to match the rest of the furniture in the master bedroom. Build around a Kohler sink (selected to have curves similar to the ones on the theme in the room). The top and front are solid cherry, the case is plywood.

Main difficulty: the curved doors (making sure that they open was tricky).

Alin . . looks like you did a great job on all the units. I am a wood carver also wanting to make some furniture. I am very reluctant to go there as the invest on good wood to make a Q size bed in cherry, maple or walnut would be substantial. My favorite is quilted maple for the bed frame, but it would almost impossible to find and if found, the price – well, I can’t imagine whaqt it would be ! ! ! :D God job, Alin. I like your design.

LittlePaw: I purchase the cherry from a local guy that “saves” the trees destined for the mulching machine. It has knots (that I prominently display), splits and some other minor defects. The wood in the vanity is not more than 30-40$ and the wood in the bed no more than 200$. There is nothing you can buy at those prices. In terms of using fancy wood like quilted maple. I avoid figured wood like plague since it will compete with fancier designs like the above. If you carve your pieces, you probably want almost no figure.

Nice work Alin, I like the curved lines, they really add to effect.

Beautiful work, that applies to the whole bedroom set.
