Here are some images of the first bowl that I have managed to turn. The dimensions are 220×85 mm or approximately 11” x 4 1/2”. The wood is West Australian Jarrah and has been finished with Danish Oil.

Oops got the conversion wrong it’s approx 9” x 3 1/2”

Just curious about the flats on the sides, these were planned I gather? Is there 3 or 4 of them ?

@ Rockbuster: There are 4 flat sides from the original square block of solid Jarrah. I decided to leave them unfinished to create a bit of contrast.
