Well, the wife was sick of looking past one neighbors back yard and seeing the clutter from the neighbor farther on… guess who got to build a fence?? The neighbors are a very nice older couple, and jumped at the chance to have a privacy fence put up. They paid for the Materials and I did the labor…. the neighbors and the wife are happy… WIN!

I did one of those last year. NOT a fun project. Especially when you have a line of stumps to remove!
Around here, a 6’ privacy fence is mandatory, by the HOA rules… Where one of my brothers live, they aren’t allowed. Go figure…

Yeah, thats why I bought the house that I did…. NO HOA!!!!! Its my house! Why should some committe able to tell me what I can/cant do with it! As long as its not illegal or outside standard building codes, you should be able to do darn near whatever you want with YOUR property.

Nice Job. I hope you got at least one tool out of the wife for it…

Wish I could get that deal going. I’ve been wanting to replace my fence for years.

The house next door’s for sale. I could use a good neighbor.

A day out of the shop and in the sun isn’t all that bad. At least you still got to work with wood and made 3 people happy.

Great looking fence, doing something about the view problem beats complaining about it forever. Now
everyone can relax and enjoy the view. Thank you for your service to our country, and for sharing a
great story and view.
