This is another project built with my friend Travis as a gift for my mom. It was suppost to be for xmas but I managed to drag it out to cover mothers day as well lol. It is built of solid red oak with a Minwax special walnut stain, two coats of danish oil, and two coats of Minwas paste wax. The top is 1 1/8” thick solid granite and weighs a ton. The pannels are assembled with biscuits and the joints are all doweled. This was my first piece of furniture in severl years and in my new shop. As always it was design on the fly and thats probly part of what took so long but she was happy to finally get it and loves it.

Thanks for looking and any comments/critique are welcome.
