Another Longboard Complete. This one is a 4-way Myrtle Burl bookmatch with a lovoa inlay. Its 39.5” X9.5” drop through. Can’t wait to try this one out. My only regret is not being a better photographer. The pictures just don’t do it justice.

It’s lovely looking woodwork. What kind of long board is it? I see the mounting holes, but am not sure what it’s for.

David. The cutouts are to mount the trucks through the board. This drops the height of the deck so it is closer to the center point of the trucks. This allows for more stability at higher speeds. The lower the deck, the less likely you are to get “speed wobbles” (scariest thing in longboarding) Because the deck is lower, you need to cut out the sides so the wheels don’t “bite” the board and toss you.
