I built this lamp table for a friend at my work. The top is maple, the rest is poplar. This is my first table ever built. The splayed legs didn’t quite present the problem I had anticipated. This was also my first run at using gel stain, and I must say I liked working with it very well. Much nicer finish than liquid stains I’ve used, and less messy as well. I liked this table so much I felt bad for letting it go. Think I’m gonna build one of my own soon.

Great little table…the leg splay makes it look very sturdy : )
What are the dimensions and is it an original design of yours ?
