After making our bedroom set out of my wife’s grandfathers tree I had a few boards left. Not sure what to do with them, they sat for about 6 months… Until she said she was pregnant. I immediately decided to make a cradle with the remaining wood. I downloaded a plan for a gliding cradle and had all the wood cut to size…then boss lady came out and decided she wanted something more in depth. So back to the drawing board and goodbye pre cut wood! She wanted a sleigh style glider with raised panels so this is what I drew up. Total project took about a month to design and create with 38 board ft total. Overall for the 3 months my child will be in this it should work just fine.

Beautiful job.
But to get a good return on your investment, you’ll just have to keep on having more babies ! LOL
