This was my first project completly designed over email. It started as an inquiry in my website and after a month of mailing drawings back a forth here she is! Its walnut with bookmatched maple panels. Could there be a better pair? The posts are solid 4×4 walnut, no laninations. The panels are 5/8” thick so you can lean up against them no prob. As always its finished with tung oil!

Beautiful! What kind of hardware did you use to attach the headboard and footboard to the side rails?

I’m with Firefighter, how’d you attach? I dig the walnut/maple combo.
