Those really look nice against the lighter walls and they lhave a lot of appeal built into the wall that way. Congratulations.

stunning…I have never done wax finishing….Maple is always so hard to stain up nicely….could you teach me???

Ever consider using an earth tone paint for the walls? That would be stunning with tan/taupe walls, especially considering the light colored flooring. Nice work!
