A friend of mine wanted an entertainment center and display cabinet for a special location in his living room. The niche is 96” high, 10’-6” wide and 16” deep. I designed this system to be installed in nine sections. He wanted a simple flat panel door look made out of oak. Building the pieces was not the difficult part. Setting up the system at home to insure it fit together was a chore. I also learned alot about staining the oak to accommodate my friends wishes. I don’t normally like to stain my projects, but this was an exception. Sorry the photograph is a bit dark.
