I finally have a lumber rack, it was made mainly from cut down 2×6 lumber. The standards were lag bolted to the wall with lag shields in the wall. I made a taper jig (no pic) to cut all the shelf brackets and plywood cleats. The cleats are glued and stapled to the shelf brackets and then 2 screws per side into the standards. I can almost hang off of 1 bracket and i’m 185….to scared to really hang from it… Now i just have to fill it wath all sorts a lumber…..
The only thing it’s lacking is something for sheet good storage…..maybe something next to it…i just didn’t have the room for the normal roll out sheet goods with shelves above… i would have got 1 shelf and that’s about it.
