This was a fun one.

I picked up the blank in Saratoga Springs at the North East Woodworker’s Association show a little while ago.

The hole in the side was a bark inclusion that was completely surrounded and revealed itself while turning and I have since decided to not fill it with anything other than some thin CA glue to seal up the edges.

Finished with turners polish, it’s about 7” in diameter and is my first solid form bowl (but my second bowl overall)

Thanks for looking.

Nice bowl. I like the wider rim, too. I’ll have to try to make one like that. That inclusion gives it character!!!!

Well done! I also like the rim. It gives it a classic look. Well done!
