My Mom has been wanting an easel that she could use that would be light enough for her to move around and store away when not in use. So I figured Mother’s Day was the perfect opportunity for me to make one for her. After searching the web for some plans I found one that would suit her needs at www.easelplans.com. If you want to make this yourself read through the plans very carefully because, for me, it seemed that there was some steps missing. Also, be prepared to spend twice as much on supplies than what is listed on the B.O.M. The author has $15.86 for an estimated cost and I spent $23 alone on the wood suggested, plus I made some modifications of my own (who wouldn’t!).
This is a great project to make and I’m sure I’ll make another in the near future with more detail to it.
Oh, ya, she loved it!

That’s real nice and neat. It’s a good design.

Very cool!

I think the correct website might be easelplans.biz

Something like this is definitely in my future. Thanks for sharing.
