after reading dave’s (patron) post on his air filter issues it was eye opener i realy need air fileration in the new shop (way smaller) but it had to come in under budget so here it is. started with a yard sale find a small desk top type swamp cooler a sheet of ply and 4 2X4’s. i made the unit big enough to take the same size filter’s my home a/c unit uses (20X30). tore appart the swap cooler to get the fan motor and 3 speed switch built a box added some ramps inside to keep air velocity up and it seems to work great pic # 3 is the air filter after spray painting something red on the floor across the room there was very little over spray anywhere so i am going to say this will work very well not bad for less the $50.00 I have to than dave and his post to get me thinking outside of the box
last pic it to show i am still making stuff i just figure there are enough cuttung board pic’s out there i dont need to add any more unless there are different

thank you eddy
however you can add air filtration is a good thing
i tried to find a squirrel cage fan
and a speed switch
but couldn’t here where i am

as you are learning
any dust in the air filter
is less in your lungs
and on the finish as it dries

well done

nice boards too
even for a copy-cat lol
