Tea Party Chair. Made from oak. I bought templates with DVD from Scott Morrison. Very fun project and a beautiful chair. It reminds me of U2 tour “360” :)

Very nice job! I’ve never seen this design of chair before, I like it a lot.

Please allow me to also chime in and say truly outstanding work. I’ve never seen one of my Tea Party chairs built in oak before and love the look.
Excellent…

this looks great, I have the plan for the stool I am planning to build this summer. How was the oak to sculpt? Was it more difficult sice it is harder than the traditional chair materieals.

Thanks Scott for sharing a lot. Thanks to all of your comprehensive DVD. Fireguy, I can`t compare, because I did not try another wood except Ash and Pine. Walnut is too expensive for me :) Of course, pine is quite easy to sculpt, but with the right tools oak is not a problem.

A very cool looking chair. I don’t generally like making chairs. They’re a lot of work, I have a better time making tables. But this looks like a fun chair to build. You did a fine job of making it. Great, you even got the designer to comment on it. I’d be very proud, bet you are.

I can’t say that you are a new woodworker. I am impressed with all your projects. Looks like we have the same design taste. Love this chair.
