Custom 8’ cedar bar..
When I started to think about bars I wanted something with a curve. I looked around and every thing I saw was high in price.. So I got to thinking and came up with this. It was a simple project. I just studded it up with
2×4 stock and then wrapped it over with thin cedar strips. Each strip is 4” wide x 1/4 ” thick.
Cedar is a wonder wood.
The top is also cedar and fiberglass over wood with 6 oz cloth. I have shelves and to small Refrigerators in the back for the ” you guest it”
the BEER ..

The picture is a little fuzzy but from what I can see it looks VERY FUNCTIONAL (and that’s the idea). Cedar can be very beautiful (but soft). I take it that when you say fiberglass you mean resin. If so, excellent choice as that will really protect the bar top from moisture and stains (easier cleaning too). Would love to see some better pictures of the whole area. What’s next? A TAP??????? A nice little micro brew on tap would cross the Ts.

Ralphie, I have to agree with Jim. It is hard to see the details on the bar and, like the canoe pictures, it does not zoom when I select zoom pictures.

The second and third pictures are good. Bar is perfect (and beer too, I hope).

Ralphie,
Like Scott says, great improvement on the pics. NOW, do you stock Patron? I will forgive you if you are only using Jose for mixer (or for those with an uneducated palette). Life is too short to drink bad tequila. But some may say life is too short to drink ANY TEQUILA…..................LOL When’s the next party?

AHHHHHHHHH, you made my day. Working for Uncle Sugar I was sent to San Diego A LOT. The locals taught me the joy of drinking GOOD tequila. Like I said, life is too short to drink CHEAP tequila.
Take care fellow survivor.
