Here is a picnic table that I built from a plan in Wood magazine. I was able to get all the cedar as well as most of the hardware from my local Menards. There was one part that had to be ordered from McMaster-Carr it was a washer that fit around the carrige bolts to prevent them from pulling and turing into the soft cedar. I applied Thompson’s water seal to the entire project. It was a fun project took me a weekend to complete but a word to the wise get someone to help you move it as it is a beast when it is all done.

I really like this design and am very tempted to purchase the plans from Wood magazine but first I’m curious if you could tell me the final dimensions of the table. I’m not sure it will fit well in the space in my back yard. Thanks!
