This is a 48” solid cherry shaker style vanity. There was no plywood, mdf or pressed wood used. Even the large panels are solid. The doors and ends inset panes are 1/2” thick solid wood. The finish is a natural penetrating oil with several coats of wipe on poly.

Very nice design and craftsmanship. Did you use space balls or screen spline to float those panels? Thanks for the post.

Beautiful. Fantastic wood selection, the grain and color run smoothly and consistently throughout the project.

That is a beautiful piece of furniture you’ve made!

The elegance of the cherry goes nicely with the clean shaker style.

Looking forward to more of your projects and welcome to LumberJocks!

Real craftsmanship! Like the fact that you chose to use solid wood for the panels. That decision adds value to the piece, and means that it will be handed down many generations. Thanks for posting.
