I am expecting my first child (three days ago), and this is the furniture I made him in A&C style.

All three pieces are quarter sawn white oak with a shellac only finish.

I designed the crib using Sketchup, and the design is available online. ( It will convert to a toddler bed or full size bed when he is ready. The inlay was inspired from another crib I saw on this site. It is cocobolo and lignum vitae.

The nursing stool inlay is of an egret and is made of bleached poplar, paduk, and cocobolo.

Okay, both Bonnie and I are impressed. Send pictures of the baby in the crib.
