Walnut main body w/ Maple trim (from re-claimed shipping pallets)... This is where I learned an interesting tip, make two of everything, cause you never know when you are going to need a gift to give…..

Beautiful use of recycled wood. And good advice (build two… you never know)... Really need to learn that one…lol

great box it’s nice to see other project made from pallet wood. Thant’s the only problem with making multiple projects from pallet wood you can only sometimes get one with a very nice grain patern to it unless you mix it with store bought wood. I have a box that I gave to doughter and it has taken me about a year to come across the same wood but it has a very different grain patern with the first looken better. The new wood is too short to make the same size box as the first that’s another problem too.
