Claro Walnut Bowl

This is my second bowl, made from a claro walnut blank that I picked up when I was in Hawaii. This one came out a lot better than my first one. I finished it with a couple of coats of General Finishes salad bowl finish, followed by several coats of dewaxed shellac, then I topped it off with some beeswax to give it some shine.

Very pretty wood! Nice shape to the bowl too. I would have liked to have seen some side shots.
