My mother being a typical mom said “Don’t give me anything for Easter”.... So this votive candle holder was given to her the day after Easter….. Again produced from a salvaged shipping pallet…

I work in a retail sporting goods store we get pallets all the time, so I’m lucky to be selective of the ones I get, lots of oak, ash, poplar and occasionally some maple & walnut… I’ve gotten to the realization it is not worth the aggravation to try to save the whole length, so I just cut off the cross pieces at the runners. I yields me shorter pieces, but less work trying to pull nails and clean up….
