Made this as a gift for the mother in law. It was made primarily from Oak scrap cut offs. I ran them through the planer to get the sizes evened up and than cut them to size and glued. There was a lot of repetition in the cuts (particularly the dowels) so stop blocks are a great idea. | |||||||

Jeff, It looks good, There is one of these on my to do list for my wife. Did you just take the dimensions from the ones in the store? I just can not bring myself to spend the money on one even though I have yet to make one.
