This piece compliments the other console table we made. The curves of its backrest were carved out of solid wood posts. Interchanging solid hardwoods were intersected with molave wood and ipil wood. Ebony pins and dowels were used. This piece was hand rubbed and finished in oil. The almost heart-shaped seat was made out of laminated hardwood (Ipil ). The legs are of molave wood.

Very unique. Nicely done. I like the curves – great work.

I really like the contrast in wood color on this piece.

Beautiful. The curves are organic. Even I would look good sitting that chair.

I must retract one of my words used in my above statement – “unique”, it is not. But, still nicely done. A nice choice of woods.

Was your design borrowed from this chair?

Looks good either way, but it’s fair to give credit where credit is due.
