great looken box, I like the woods and how they contrast each other also the ball chain lid stay i have that same idea cuz i didn’t know where to get the other chain/chains now I do after some long research on the web. anyway saweeeeeeeeeeet box.

I like your contrasting woods for the splines, nice job.
Just curious where did you find that color velvet, I have looked several places locally to no avail.

happy budah
two strips of maple and cherry laminated glued to strip and blocks to form a pocket
the liner is made from foam covered with cloth which is held to foam with spray glue
then i fold it to form the ring holder and insert it into the pocket using a thin smooth wood strip
