Some more bandsaw boxes!
I just recently purchased a G0555P 14” bandsaw and have been
having a blast with it!

The first box “Twister” is made from dark walnut and alder!

The second is The Mushroom box it is made from oak, cedar and dark walnut!
I mixed it up a little and made cedar drawer fronts.

The third box is made from red wood left over from a pillar for a porch.

The fourth box is a root from a tree in a friends yard.
He thinks its a birch tree not really sure what it is.
He said heres a root from one of the trees in my yard can you do anything with it?

Thank you for your time!
David B.

It’s projects like this that both give me tons of motivation, and a bit of hesitation to try it myself. I have no clue how I could come up with anything anywhere near as nice as those… You did a great job!

trust me I have screwed up as many as I have gotten right!

Once you do a few boxes you will be out there making them in your sleep!

I am willing to help you any way I can!
I will see if I have any pictures I can post up in a project showing the steps!
THank you for the comments!

Wow…these are awesome! We see alot of bandsaw boxes on here, but these really stand out from the rest! The layering effect with the different woods you used really makes these look extra cool. Thanks for sharing them with us :) ......hmmm…now I wanna try and make one! lol!

David, you are a bandsaw wizard! I love shaping these boxes but they are soooo sanding intensive. Great craftsmanship! thanks for sharing.
