This is the latest furniture project that I’ve completed. It is an Oak desk in the Craftsman style. the drawer handles are also Oak that I made so they would match the rest of the desk. Its a pretty basic design which I like. the drawer under the keyboard is suppose to be for the key board as a pullout tray. It worked properly but was just a little too low for us. The cutout in that tray was to allow your wrists to sit properly on the edge of the tray to type. I’ve since removed the drawer and keep the keyboard on the top of the desk.

I was thinking on putting the tower on the floor but it works nice on the desk top. Plenty of room as you can sorta of see, there are two monitors on the desk as well.

You could of use the tray as a draw to hold papers and pencils.

Have your say...
