Used Cherry for this Greene & Greene bed for my daughter. The panels are are mdf with cherry veneer.

That’s really nice. The amount of time that you spent creating all of the details is a labor of love. Perhaps you’ll get to see your grandchildren use that bed as well. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely exceptional work! How was it veneering panels that large? Did you use some kind of vac press? Thanks for sharing.

That is an exceptionally beautiful bed! Next, I think you should help her remodel that rather drab bedroom. Those block walls are so last year. :-)

Thank you all for the kind words. Made the mistake of using contact adhesive to glue the veneer. I only researched after the project and found that it is not the best method but it worked for me.
Now it is onto the side tables.

Great looking bed, the joinery is wonderful, attention to detail makes big impressions, great looking wood and craftsmanship. Is the design yours or from a plan? Did you use a mortise machine or by hand? I like this project, another work of art, thanks for sharing Tell us more about this beautiful bed, we all sleep in one so everyone can relate, thanks Steven
