Here is the first bandsaw box I ever made. It has some flaws but I was happy with it and like how it came out. The box is made from Cedar and Red Oak. I don’t know what kind of cedar it is but do NOT make a box from this soft delicate cedar! The hues are warm and charming (that’s why I picked it!) but the cedar itself is pretty tough for a beginner who’s learning. Overall, I loved this project and it started me into bandsaw boxes which I LOVE making!
Also, I must give some props to ShopMania who advised and let me use some tools I didn’t have yet. Neither of us lost a finger…victory #2.

Very Cool. I really like the figure from the top view and the drawer pull designed to match the curves. Thanks for sharing.

Tommy, nice looking box! The cedar does look really nice, but it is tough to work it. Good Job!
