This is a Murphy bed I built for the house. Since we only have three bedrooms, one had to be an office and guest room combined. The easiest solution is a wall bed. I purchased the hardware and plans on-line and built the whole unit from Maple Plywood. All the face trim is solid Maple with a beaded edge. The Crown and base moldings are both solid Maple. This is the greatest space saver ever invented. Still need to spray the final finish but it’s still usable in the meantime.

Nice job….I made one a few years ago and it’s had a lot of use! Nice trim on the face. Did you buy it from Lee Valley? Their plans were great and the instructions easy to follow. I only had one little “oopps” during the whole construction. Check my projects and you’ll see the finished product.
