Very nice I like the one that has a rough surface . How did you do that. I would like to try that.

this surface treatment is done with a laminate trimmer and a carbide burr
it happend to cover up some deep burned spots wich did not show until i finished the clock
just take your time and practise on a scrap piece use a dark stain and then rub down with steel wool
that will give you the highlights
the end grain will need more rubbing as the stain draws in deeper

You certainly have been busy since 2011, with a collection of well crafted projects and ingenious engineered devices. Well done, examining many of these will take some time.
