I recently hooked my friend on woodworking and this was his first big project. We made the frames out of pine and the inside out of cedar paneling. I had recently bought the Kreg Jig and was able to put it to good use. I highly recommend this jig; it helped tremendously with the frame work. The pocket holes create a fast, simple, and strong joint. It was finished with a mahogany stain.
