This is the workbench I made for our shop. Its a torsion box style made from 1” plywood. base is just 2×4’s. Its very flat, level and heavy, lo, probably about 300 lbs. In the background you can see our 4’ circ saw guide made of 2 pieces of 1/4” plexiglass. It is outside as we do mos of our work outdoors. It doesnt rain much here, and the top is meant to be replaced.

Looks like a nice solid bench to work from. Good job and thanks for sharing it with us.

Great looking bench.
And … for such an important part of a workshop … isn’t it great to be able to work with it … pretty much every time you’re in your shop ?
I’m loving mine. Just completed it a few weeks ago, too.
Haven’t tried my hand at a torsion box, yet, but … since the slap-together mobile base that I built for my jointer is starting to sag … I may be building one, soon !
Cheers !
