Floating Top Table

This is this second version of this table, this one was all pine. A top that seems to float above the aprons. A drawer that matches the grain of the apron. An old lamp finial for a drawer pull. Beading around the drawer opening. Legs are tapered on the inside edges, with just a handplane. Top has a nice curved to it. Dark Walnut stain, three coats of poly gloss.

very nice, I have just started to build floating top tables. I really like the look of then. I like the choice for the drawer pull.

This is pretty sweet. I like the shaped top instead of just a square or rectangle, really frames this piece nicely.
