Nothing new or special this time, but made a wooden ring for my lovely niece (9 years old), and also made for myself too. Making rings is always fun, so couldn’t stop it only making it one.
I am sending this small gift including the case to Hokkaido, and I hope she like it.
**

Really nice work! I love them and a great ring box too..
What wood or better yet woods are they, that dark one is really neat.
I am sure she will love it!
Great work thanks for sharing.

Those are some really nice rings! What woods did you use?
Did you use a lathe (sen ban) or a scroll saw (itonoko)?
Or drill them out with a drill press (boro ban)?

Thank you for the comments guys.
I should have written the names of the woods… The black one is rosewood, and the red one for smaller ring is Karin (Padauk), I used some more woods, but I am not sure. Maybe ash, walnut?!?
I don’t have lathe, so I made these with drill press (yes, boru ban!!!).
