I have made this Buffet last autumn, it’s made from hard maple, only the back panel are made from 1/4 ply (custumer ask) all the assembly is made tenons/mortises, and the drawer with dovetails, the drawer are on bloom bluemotion bottom slide from richelieu, wanted too keep the classic look with the ease of the slide. The finish english chestnut (2 coats), wype-on-poly MinWaxx (3 coats).

Wow, that is beautiful! What did that cost the customer, if you don’t mind sharing.

I can tell what you were trying to achieve regarding space for the buffet – but if I can give a bit of a critique I am not too sure if the three doors on the bottom and the handle placement works. I am not sure how you would fix it… maybe having made the two bottom doors just a little wider and then make the middle piece be a fixed panel… No matter what it’s a rock solid piece and I like the english chestnut color.

Thanks for your comments, i enjoy it

This Buffet was for a friend, i did not charge full price, woodworking is more like a hobby for me, i have time to work on my project 2 day’s sometime 3 a week.

Like i said in my post our friend ask to have it this way, they live in a condo so not many place, this buffet setting in an open room, dinning room and lounge, she put her laptop in the right drawer (i have made her a maple-ply to set the laptop on the top of the drawer), she have put her filing cabinet in the left door and she put the printer with all the other stuff ( paper, ink etc…) in the middle and right doors ( i have put a shelv ). She doesn’t want to have a computer desk in this room, can understand her.
