I made these nesting tables out of oak. I changed the original plan specs. All mortise and tenon construction. Thanks for looking GREG.

Great job on theses. really like the color, I get kind of bored with oak being I grew up with so much of it. But you changed it up with the color. What type of finish did you use on this? Well done on these.

Serveian, I got these plans from the wood store at wood magazine,arts and crafts nesting tables, woodworking plan,mission style.

Ken, I used a three step process,, first i used trans tint medium brown dye, then applied varathane early american gel stain, 603 and three coats oil base satin urethane satin finish, or don’t forget to wipe the wood with a lite coat of water, letting the coat dry before applying the trans tint.
