I have built seven of these, of different shapes and sizes. My son by far has the coolest one so far, its due for a remodel soon, he plays with it all the time. the blocks are 5/8×5/8 by 1” this castle took aprox 1400 blocks so far. I started building these in my motel room for something to do.

Very cool, You should BLOG it so I can make one for my grand son he would love it. Are the blocks glued together? How did you get the texture to look like stone?
Nice job and a good winter project. Well done

This is dirty pool, you only show us part of one castle, then inform us your son has the coolest one. What I
can see looks great, but could you show us the complete castle, and maybe the coolest one also. I can
remember making my own Lincoln Logs in my dad’s workshop when I was long on time and short on money,
that part still has not changed. Thank you for sharing this, but we are mostly very addicted woodworkers,
some much better than others, and need more info and pictures.

Right on Bluepine: I think we should throw him in the dungeon until he shows more!

Wow!! thanks for all the kind words. Yes they are all glued together, as soon as I find my camera I will take more pics, and when I do my remodel on my boys I will put them up as well. Thanks again! I have been eye balling this site for a couple of years now, and the main reason I joined was to comment on all your great projects, also to steal others ideas! Also its not done yet i just wanted to post something.
