Our old 1895 barn is being torn down so I thought to make some furniture with it. All pine.

Looks great! What type of joinery did you use for the legs and apron?

Looks great. I have oodles of barn wood- oak, pine, cedar, maple.. everything. What did you use to finish? Looks like maybe a stain and many coats of brush on poly?

This is really nice! I have been looking for a simple design for a coffee table. I like this a lot!

I’ve passed by a few opportunities to score barn wood, because … I can’t imagine it amounting to anything nice.

And then you went and posted this :-)

It’s beautiful. Next time the opportunity comes around, I’ll have to buy some.

Thanks for posting it !

I love to see reclaimed wood find new life as a reincarnated piece or furniture. Very cool.

Very nice. I love the barn-wood look. Most of my projects look rustic by accident. :-)
