Project Information

I had some segmented rings leftover and I made some more to come up with this.

13 rings, 173 pieces

I like to get the rings round and flat before I glue the rings together, it works for me.

Big wide open top, I hate getting my hand caught in the cookie jar.

8" wide x 10" tall. Rattle can gloss lacquer over acrylic paints. The inside has no finish.

Nice, Hairy! Are the "seeds" just paint? It looks like there's some texture to them.

Thanks!!

Yes, the seeds are acrylic paint. Mixed with a product to thicken the paint. The brand I use is Triple Thick, I'm sure there's others. I use a squeeze bottle to get 1 drop at at time.

I also used it on the lid, to give the leaves some texture

Nice project that took some care!

I think it'll keep the casual cookie eating visitor out, but if you have kids I would recommend a large Brussels sprout 8^)

Fine work Hairy

That is a really neat idea. I really like the design, and yes it must have a larger opening. But where are the cookies?
