Project Information

My latest work. Piano keys end grain cutting boards. Made with maple, cherry, walnut, purpleheart, bloodwood and wenge. I wanted to try something different for the field above the keys and discovered this Ripple pattern by Ambrose Boards. This is my first attempt at this pattern and it was a lot of fun and work. More glue ups than some of my chaos boards.

Very well done, from the keys to the ripple on the backside. That is a lot if glue ups to create.

Man, as if the piano board already wasn't over the top… add the the ripple and it's absolutely beautiful. Tremendous job. Congratulations.

Thank you. This was a fun build. I wanted to do something different and wasn't sure how it would look. I'm pleased with the result.
