I made this in woods class and I built it out of Mahogany. For the finish, I used TUNG Oil.

That looks like very nice work, I especially like the grain in the mahogany you chose. Thank your teacher and your administrators you have shop class available to you.

Very nice, But next time you take a pic, step back a bit. The camera angle makes the top look huge.
