Project Information
Out of Ash. Amber Shellac (2 coats) under a single coat of Gloss Poly ( headed for the gazebo)
Legs are tapered on 2 faces. Top IS 7/8" thick, but the edges are beveled to present a thinner look..
Top is a 4 board glue-up, with bread board ends. Drawer is dovetailed in front, but the back of the drawer sits in a dado.
Tried to show off the grain as much as I could….although I doubt if the Shakers did it that way ( too "showy"?)
Top is 21" x 21" square…legs are 20-1/2" tall.
There is a "Build-along Blog" for this table…the 2022 Version Shaker Style Table Project.
No fancy beads, just a rather plain Shaker Style table…
Thanks for looking in..
