My take on a jewelry chest for my sister’s 50th. African mahogany and Purple Heart. Personally I love the shitoyance (?) of the mahogany

Looking good. Mahogany always looks good on a furniture piece.

What they said, Mahog is the King for a reason.

That box is splendid. Finally a jewelry box for a Woman with the appropriate amount of jewelry. Most look like a traveling display box for a jewlery store’s chain, to keep all of their inventory in. All 357 stores worth.

I think those send the wrong message. It conveys you need more, to fill it up. Now that thought works well for a shop, more tools is good. More jewelry, Meh…..

TechTeacher04 thank you for clarifying the spelling. And the word “case” has an s in it. Believe it or not English is my primary language. I’m going to let her husband fill it up.

That’s really nice. I see you used magnets for the door closer. What strength did you use? I can’t get any good information about it.

I got the magnets from Rockler but am not sure of their strength. I can’t find any at my local stores.
